Peer-to-Peer Exchange
Through peer-to-peer exchange, FHSI’s Information Services connect organizations across the country, delivering effective and innovative outreach strategies to local farmworker communities. By utilizing FHSI’s publications and resources, farmworker-serving organizations can gain exposure amongst their peers, and share valuable insights and strategies regarding how to best serve hard-to-reach populations.

Innovative Outreach Practices Report
This annual collection of innovative outreach practices serves as a tool to gain insight into other health outreach programs. Useful techniques and approaches are presented with commentary emphasizing what practices are innovative and how to contact the contributing organization regarding for additional information on how you can apply these proven techniques.
National Needs Assessment of Farmworker-Serving Health Organizations
This biannual national report provides information on the needs of farmworker-serving organizations, with emphasis on program infrastructure and service delivery. Detailing the findings of a nationwide needs assessment, this report also includes recommendations and strategies for outreach programs. Survey respondents include: Migrant/Community Health Centers, Migrant Voucher Programs, Migrant and Seasonal Head Starts, and Farmworker-serving Health Departments.
OutReach Newsletter
FHSI’s semiannual newsletter provides information on current farmworker health trends, strategies for increasing farmworker access, and tools for decreasing health disparities.
Outreach Reference Manual
Developed to provide the tools to make outreach easier and more effective, this eight-section, customizable binder presents a step-by-step approach on how to design an outreach program and orient new staff. Other helpful topics include: health education, outreach, and case management tools. A nominal fee of $30 may apply.
Health Education Flip Charts
Designed by farmworkers for farmworkers, these flipcharts contain large graphics, making them ideal for use with low-literacy populations. FHSI offers two health education flip charts: Sexually Transmitted Diseases and High Blood Pressure. Both are excellent tools for health educators. A nominal fee of $15 per flip chart may apply.
